Question: Do I need to go to Court? What happens if I don't show up?
Answer: In many instances, especially for the first few court dates, we can appear for you, on your behalf. This can save you valuable time and money by allowing you to save your days off and work.
However, if you fail to hire an attorney and decide to not show up, then a warrant will be issued by the court for your failure to appear in court. In fact, some courts have begun adding an additional criminal offense to the case: Bail Jumping or Failure to Appear, which is a misdemeanor.
If you're charged with Bail Jumping or Failure to Appear, give us a call so we can try and get the warrant recalled and begin work on your actual charges.
